  1. Contact is different from hard contact, I'm not expecting him to K everyone, but to get soft contact, not be slapped on things that are in the zone
  2. BONIIIIIIIIIIIIII SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED! Fielder's choice!
  3. It was a phenomenal read, he took a split second glimpse at the ball and took off
  4. See what happens when you have good D? Good game so far Jays!
  5. http://i.imgur.com/sdxzGEx.png HD Stream thanks to Charlie460!!! Series so far: June 17, 2013 (Game 1/3): Jays 2-0 Rockies June 18, 2013 (Game 2/3): Jays 8-3 Rockies Pitching Matchup: http://i.imgur.com/NrzD8ie.png SP - Mark Buehrle (87.0 IP, 24 BB, 6.00 K/9, 2.48 BB/9, .265 BAA, .288 BABIP, 4.48 FIP) [L] http://i.imgur.com/V9vnJ9a.png SP - Juan Nicasio (74.0 IP, 27 BB, 6.20 K/9, 3.28 BB/9, .249 BAA, .275 BABIP, 4.43 FIP) [R] Lineups: http://i.imgur.com/FBfLkqW.png Make your picks for the first homer contest hosted by Dylan! (Click the image below!) http://i1312.photobucket.com/albums/t538/BlueJays20131/Title_zpsecbb6372.jpg Jays Batting: Actual Batting: http://i.imgur.com/l8bwlir.png Projections http://i.imgur.com/gsqpo4q.png Rockies Batting: Actual Batting: http://i.imgur.com/5adCOea.png Projections http://i.imgur.com/bpMQMXY.png Notes: Rockies:: I have made an error in reading comprehension, and they Jays are NOT 14-0 against the Rockies, but they are 8-6 against the Rockies. The home team has sweeped every series coming into this series. In the 4 previous series the Rockies are 6-0 at home, and the Jays are 6-0 at home. The record stands at 8-6 currently. Michael Cuddyer's 7th innings single against Esmil Rogers pushed his hitting streak to a career high 17 games. He's hit .387 with two homers in his current streak Dexter Fowler misses another game because of a hand injury suffered Thursday of last week. Cargo's 5/8 (.625) against Buehrle in his career, along with Cuddyer's .318 average in 107 ABs, are the best lines against Buehrle in the Rockies lineup Jays: Encarnacion's 19th roundtripper puts him in the top 3 in the AL. He's on pace to break last year's career high in homers and RBIs. Jays are at 2 under .500 for the first time since being 7-9, this is what a 7 game winning streak can do to a ballclub! The luck is turning for Mighty Mouse! His homer last night helped bump his average to .333 in the last 8 games The Jays pitching have been awesome to say the least, as they haven't given up a homer in 52 straight innings. Mark Buehrle's coming off a string of 5 straight great starts, as he owns a 1.91 ERA in that time period, leading to 4 victories for the Jays. And how about the last 6 games? The Jays pitching staff have owned just a 0.67 ERA in the past 6 games! Please leave feedback and ideas/improvements for future GDTs!
  6. 7 GAMES IN A ROW! 2 UNDER .500! WE'RE WINNING DOWN THE STRETCH FOR THE FIRST TIME IN AGES! Rogers great performance, coming into the 7th he's averaged 12 pitches per inning along with a no hitter 5.1 innings into the game, and how about the offence? Bautista isn't really hot right now and yet everyone is contributing to win ball games without bats Scoring Plays: Bottom of the 1st: Jays score (Jays lead 1-0): Encarnacion hits a double to center field bringing in Cabrera from second Jays score (Jays lead 2-0): Adam Lind singles up the middle, Encarnacion scores Jays score (Jays lead 3-0): Rajai Davis singles to left, Lind scores, DeRosa out trying to scramble back to 3rd, but Rajai gets into second on the throw Jays score (Jays lead 4-0): J.P. pulls a double to left, Davis easily plates Bottom of the 5th: Jays score (Jays lead 6-0): Edwin Encarnacion takes his parrot for a ride on the chicken wing! His 19th round-tripper is a two run shot bringing in Melky! Bottom of the 6th: Jays score (Jays lead 7-0): JP Arencibia rips his 15th homer of the year to left! Solo shot Jays score (Jays lead 8-0): Izzy goes back-to-back! Solo shot to right on the 3rd pitch of the AB, his 4th of the season! Top of the 7th: Rockies score (Jays lead 8-1): Wilin Rosario singles to left, CarGo scores Rockies score (Jays lead 8-2): Nolan Arenado grounds out to EE at first, Cuddyer scores and Rosario to 3rd Rockies score (Jays lead 8-3): Tyler Colvin hits a grounder to Izzy that is booted and goes to left, Rosario scores on the error for an unearned run Box Scores: http://i.imgur.com/r9YUtWp.png http://i.imgur.com/CAHb5tC.png
  7. I actually like the ballpark, that in itself is historic. The O.Co Collecium, held many great moonshots and great moments, it will be sad to see them ditch the park Well I did witness Expos to Nats move . I just don't like the idea of taking all the things the city won and moving it to another location, acting like nothing has changed
  8. http://i.imgur.com/wdfoDfi.png Pitching Matchup: http://i.imgur.com/fl8aqp3.png SP - Esmil Rogers (42.0 IP, 13 BB, 5.36 K/9, 2.79 BB/9, .258 BAA, .290 BABIP, 3.94 FIP) [R] http://i.imgur.com/g1WWHkN.png SP - Jeff Francis (46.0 IP, 17 BB, 8.02 K/9, 3.33 BB/9, .281 BAA, .322 BABIP, 4.71 FIP) [L] Lineups: http://i.imgur.com/6w12jnQ.png Make your picks for the first homer contest hosted by Dylan! The Rockies are 0-13 against the Jays lifetime Jays: Since the Jays found themselves 11 games under .500 (10-21) they turned things around in a good way, so good that they own the best AL East record in that timeframe of 23-15. Jays had a fury of injury news come in. Reyes and Morrow had rehab games yesterday, and although Reyes was OK, Morrow suffered a setback with his forearm and will be shut down until they can get it examined. Luis Perez stopped his rehab because of a 'minor' issue, and JA Happ threw his second BP session since his knee injury. Esmil Rogers has been a splendid suprise so far, and he looks to stay in the rotation after Morrow suffered a setback in his rehab. The ex-Rocky had his longest outing of the season going 7 1/3 of one run ball in Arlington against the Rangers. As a starter he's pitched to a great 1.26 ERA and owning a nice 11:4 K:BB ratio in 14.1 IP The Jays starting have been spotless in general, owning a 2.32 ERA in the last 12 games (Jays are 9-3 in those games), and they have a 0.53 ERA in the last 4 games! Standings: http://i.imgur.com/9pOEsKd.png http://i.imgur.com/vI1ZVVz.png http://i.imgur.com/IRp8D6B.png Venue: http://www.andrewclem.com/Baseball/Diag/RogersCentre.gif I hope you guys enjoy the game and the GDT!
