    Great haul by the A's It must suck to be a Rays fan right now. Your GM leaves, then your manager leaves and all of a sudden core players start to get shipped out and the dream of a new stadium is possibly floating away

    He's (AA) f***ing back holy s***. This is some vintage AA penny pinching moves. Remember when we claimed Miguel Olivo just so we could get a supplemental draft pick a few years ago? Or when we traded less than a million $ for Carlos Villanueva?

    I agree 100% with you. Player for Player, without taking anything else into affect, I think we won, but realistically it's good for both teams. Mariners had an extra outfielder after Nelson Cruz and Happ gives the Mariners a solid #4 pitcher who put up a sub 4 xFIP and held his own in the AL East who's gonna benefit from the huge ballpark.

    I don't think he'll be worth what it will take to get him. Dude doesn't steal bases that much and doesn't have good D. Melky's slower than him but will take less to bring him back and has a better bat than Fowler. Plus fowlers got one year left, the Astros probably had this in mind when they signed him to trade him after his first year for a batch of prospects. No thanks.
