  1. Very well put. I guess it also depends how well our front office can draft with a lower draft position. Edit: no draft comp pick
  2. Kobeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!
  3. Strop holy f***
  4. Oh f*** I forgot about their 10/5 situations, nevermind lol. The only way their gone is if they're going to a contending team.
  5. Because they're going to hit decline really soon and we really don't have much coming up from the farm. I think we should keep retooling so we can keep contending, I don't know how many years Bautista has left in him to keep playing at the level he's at Its the post season I have to! My question is though, isn't it a bit short sighted to not move the older guys? I'm not talking impact on payroll, but trading Bautista's value now (which is only going to decrease year by year) for even greater value down the line? Tampa did it a lot (but for financial reasons) and they ended up with guys like Archer for guys like Garza. If we can make big deals like that, even if their values will truly kick in a season or two from the initial trade, wouldn't it be worth it?
  6. Holy f*** Shwarber
  7. Yup, playing our cards right will probably mean Bautista or/and EE gone this off season for younger players. Time to start the revolving door of getting old All-Stars out and new future All-Stars in
  8. QO??? To Estrada??? I was thinking that we might be able to lock him in on a 2+1 year deal with $8MM of salary per year for the first 2... I mean given his track record of Yuni/Bautista/EE extensions (and to a certain extent Dickey's contract as well) and with Donaldson due for a long term deal, I would think AA will be pinching for every last penny with Estrada
  9. No way the do that i don't think
  10. But the prices are so high :'((
  11. I think the record for home teams in game 5 of the ALDS is 9-16 I think we'll make it 10-16 With that being said I think I feel the same about the Jays right now. I always thought, going into game 3, that the first 2 games were essentially lost because of nerves and the Jays trying to hard and not being comfortable. Now that everything wore off, they handled Texas well away, and i think they can get a victory Wednesday and continue momentum into the ALCS
  12. The prices are in USD???????? So I'm looking at $180 before tax and fees for 500 level seats? Jeeze lol
  13. Man I hope you're right, I'm seriously considering skipping classes and going to the Dome for game 5 but for $138 500 level seats eh...
  14. KC. Fireworks will go off
  15. I don't think the Dickey Effect will have an effect on them when they have a day off
  16. To get the last out? I probably would have at this point
  17. Well at least we have an excuse to not play Price against the Rangers, he doesn't have good matchups at all against them
