I've grown tired of hearing about projection systems spoken of as gospel on here. They're a tool and should be used as such, not relied on as the final answer to everything.
f*** that. Alex & Beeston's job at this point is not to build a contending team, its to sell tickets. And young, unknown players to a casual fan base just doesn't do it.

Santana would have been a buffer for Hutch & Stroman coming up. Santana wasn't a saviour pushing the Jays into playoff contention.
As for the players and who they want acquired. They should stick to their jobs of playing and not worrying about the FO signing or trading for their friends.
For stuff to do, around Rogers Centre for sure. I like a more laid back pedestrian friendly feel around a park...Rogers Centre is too sterile and forced when I'm comparing the two.
I don't like when players throw numbers around of what they're gonna do. Because I can't think of one example where a player's predictions were met. He may as well have said he's gonna steal 60.
