    Justifiable if the incident involved a team member. An assault of some type probably, being Corey Perry. If that's the case the league will suspend his ass if they think a team is going to pick him up.

    This only works if the d'backs were or would eventually be desperate, which is unlikely to be true. The likely result from your approach is the d'backs fill their catching need from elsewhere and the Jays are still making calls to try and unload one of the 3.

    No question, he should have announced his retirement when the season ended. Now he's going to retire with a dick tuck when no team offers a MLB deal. Maybe in March the Jays offer him a 1 day deal and make some money off Frenchsoup with a Josh Donaldson day.

    Not necessarily, depends on the game situation. Kirk isn't getting 2 disengagements, for sure. I'm talking about the guys that pick up 5-10 steals a year with a 60-65% success rate. Depending on game situation, they may get 2 disengagements. Anyway, Laika used better words to cover my point that the numbers are meaningless without more context.

    Not disagreeing. It's just the ALC sucks, and Tigers with Ohtani would be the division favourite, IMO.
