  6. Anyone else think Donaldson is going to lose votes relative to Trout due to 9 of the top 20 WAR leaders are ALE, whereas only 3 of the top 20 are ALW?

  9. it's close. i was thinking because donny plays in canada, trout will win easily, but..... http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=al&qual=y&type=6&season=1987&month=0&season1=1987&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0
  10. So what you are saying it doesn't matter whether it's Goins or Tulo, if Reyes is injured, riding pine, or traded the Jays are a better team? I still can't believe AA doubled down on the Wells trade.
  11. inevitable RTTM
  12. top of the ALE... how long ago has it been since Jays leading this late?
  13. dickey's 2015 numbers are now virtually identical to 2013 and 2014, except the K rate down
  14. Well said. Wrt Sanchez, the arguments have not been whether he should be a starter or a reliever, but mostly about whether he should be a starter with the Jays or in Buffalo, and how much 'luck' has to do with his results. Pretty much everyone agrees he is a talented pitcher with the potential to be a frontline starter. He should have been starting in Buffalo at the start of the season, but Stroman..... Jays have managed Sanchez well this year. It could be argued his starting and relieving with the big club this year has been better for him than being in Buffalo. And he has been a solid contributor, luck has helped, along with his ability to induce a high percentage of groundballs.
  15. he's a journeyman who knows not to bite the hand that feeds him
  16. postseason Price Stroman Dickey Buerhle Hutchison (when, if needed) Estrada - bullpen
  17. Pillar keeps this up we will see Revere in CF and Colabello LF in the postseason
