    Keep in mind, the Tulo trade would not have been made if Travis was not injured. Moving Tulo to at least partially recoup the prospects lost to Colorado is extremely likely.

    I wasn't as excited about this year's post season run as, say.... 1985. In 1985 Jays were a young team and all fans knew they would be good for a while. 2015 Jays an old team with a short window of contention. Just not the same. AA should have stayed the course. A starting 5 of Stroman, Syndergaard, Alvarez, Norris, DeSclafani and Osuna, Cecil and Sanchez, Graveman, etc in the bullpen, and pitching to d'Arnaud, I'd be feeling a whole lot better with this team going forward. As it is, we are probably going to end up with at least 2 scrubs in the SP.

    That's true, although there will be many teams thinking Tulo will rebound strongly. His injury history, age, dislike for Toronto (?), the Jays lack of pitching, and Pillar are reasons he may be moved.

    Not trolling. Hendriks as a full time SP is a non-starter, his high in IP is 85 in 2012. Spot SP duty and reliever is all we can expect for 2016.

    Hendriks is best as a swingman. Leave him where he is.

    Tulo doesn't have much value given age/contract. Moving him would be little more than a salary dump - to reallocate the salary elsewhere. Cannot expect much back.

    Jesus. By the time the prospects from this year's, next year's, and the following year draft are ready, Donaldson will be close to retirement.

    That's not enough youth.... and the farm is pretty bare. The Jays will be good in 2016, in 2017 one of EE or Bautista will be back (perhaps neither, we will see), and in 2017 all of the veterans carrying the team will be 2 years older. Will Martin be as good in 2017? Will Tulo? EE? Bautista? They will all be worse.

    Yes, and at a huge cost in future returns. Depends how you define best. Astros could have moved Correa and Springer for a short window of WS contention, but making them a weaker team in the process.

    It's not the best team, not even close. Astros, Cubs, Mets are superior - they will be contenders for several years. Jays will be contenders in 2016, and does not look good thereafter.

    The success of a GM is measured by the health of the organization - and the Jays are not in a particularly good spot. With a lack of cost controlled youth, I see very lean years post 2016.

    AA may not have been a little bitch, but it seems he was was rather sensitive. Expect he will regret the rash decision.

    Except everyone and his dog knew the Dickey trade was terribad the moment it was announced. Have never seen such a lopsided trade in 40 years of following baseball.

    Can't believe he waited. A good friend of mine refused conventional treatment and relied on hocus pocus homeopathic remedies. Is dead. Just get the damn thing treated by the best doctors you can get your hands on.

    He's not far behind the others, but I don't see him becoming a stud either. He doesn't have that kind of arsenal.
