  1. Ronny Brito and Andrew Sopko are the return.
  2. Indeed.
  3. Yeah, for sure. I need to make some audiograms tonight and then I'll start the barrage of tweets. I feel like once we tweet to Ms. Waldon et al, we'll get some hits.
  4. If any of you so happen to post regularly over at the Reddit and were so inclined as to link this episode for us, we'd be very appreciative of that.
  5. Here's this episode on YouTube:
  6. Nice!
  7. Huh? What's wrong with Keegan Matheson?
  8. BVW essentially refused to include McNeil in the Cano trade, assuming the reports are accurate. If McNeil does get traded, I'll be curious to see what the return is that ultimately pries him away.
  9. Gross.
  10. ZIPS
  11. A lot of the guys play together in a second league (well, it's the first one) with the same rules and it's apparently been running for over five seasons. Blue Jays is the commish of that league.
  12. To Org: Will Smith, LAD - C To me: Andres Gimenez, NYM - SS Org to confirm.
  13. Maybe back to the Dodgers?
  14. s***, I didn't press record!
  15. That's what I was going for
  16. I agree. People won't believe what he said next.
  17. Yeah, it's a pretty terrible list. It has a very outdated feel, like he was going off of early-season scouting reports or something. These evaluators need to be less afraid of moving high-pedigree players down if they struggle. That's not to say that we should completely rule out a major league contribution from a guy like Jon Harris, for example, but these lists need to be more representative of what actually happened than they are. It feels like there's an imbalance of weighted values here. Pedigree should matter less than it does. That's not to say that it doesn't matter, because it does - I believe that what the player did spanning multiple seasons at high school or college should factor in to the equation. But development isn't linear, and sometimes a mechanical tweak can unlock all sorts of goodies from a player that was otherwise completely unheralded in his draft year/signing period (Otto Lopez, Josh Winckowski, etc).
  18. Jays Top 50 from Prospects 1500. https://prospects1500.com/top-50-lists/toronto-blue-jays-2019-top-50-prospects/
  19. Vindicated.
  20. TIL that's from a taco commercial.
  21. He gave us so much stuff. Honestly, the interview is terrific. He seems like a really good kid; confident in his abilities, which is what you like to see. Anyway, I won't say anything else because I don't want to spoil it, but I'm really looking forward to hearing this back.
  22. Lol! Okay, that's not entirely true, but also not far from accurate.
