    Hopefully he targets rentals that are a tier below. No way I want to move a top prospect for a few months of Shields. If an extension came with it then that is a different story.

    Almost no chance Shields resigns with the Jays if they traded for him. He will be highly sought after and no chance AA gets into a bidding war.

    I get that but they lost two games in a row, not 4 or 5. They play 162 games a season and the best teams lose 65-70 games a year. They have gone 25-9 in their last 34 games including this two game losing streak. This is baseball, not Football, you don't live and die with every game.

    This game is no more meaningful than any other game the Jays have played this season.

    If they need to address both areas then I don't see why a 3 team deal wouldn't work. Rasmus would be a solid addition to their lineup. I'm really hoping AA can deal Rasmus to address our needs rather than dipping into the farm.

    Hoping for a good series as well. Oh and even with the two losses the Jays are still on track for 96 wins.
