    I agree. I understand managing your assets is important but when you're going for it, I want to see the best team possible.

    A lineup with Kawasaki and not travis is a lot less exciting. If this was the case, shouldn't we see more of Kawasaki?

    Settled then. Someone tell AA/Gibby our bench will be Goins, Tolleson, Navarro/smoak, & Valencia.. and a crying dickey on the side.

    Someone will have to go when Saunders comes back. We can't have Tolleson as our 4th outfielder/ backup SS all season lol

    I would think they option Pillar. But most likely by then there is another injury/Navarro gets traded. Losing tolleson wouldn't be the worst thing though.

    Just edited to add smoak/Navarro. If saunders is back mid-april, I think they might attempt tolleson as a backup outfielder? With dirks hurt and Viciedo with a $2.5-million salary, I think they squeeze tolleson in.

    Agreed.. and we still have over a week to go. At least we are seeing mostly starting lineups now. And the montreal games will bring some more entertainment.
