  1. Osuna and Stroman seemed more MLB ready when they came up - but they seem to have a different makeup entirely, more complete, better command, composed, etc.
  2. Stroman seems to add pitches at will
  3. Oops re Saunders Yeah it's weird you get suspended for a month and can play on ST
  4. Saunders 3 HR in his last 5 AB
  5. I missed the game. What happened?
  6. Good point. We will probably end up using 8+ pitchers for starts like every year. It's nice to have this kind of depth for when guys have DL stints obviously.
  7. See! He's improving his OBP skills because he's batting leadoff.
  8. Has he changed his mind since their Twitter debate?
  9. Oops. The Score app told me that. Maybe it knew inwas in Atlantic time zone and corrected for it. Most apps don't do that.
  10. No way he'd ever go Pillar Goins 1-2 in a regular season game Is there?
  11. Fugly lineup but a good chance to see some guys
  12. If it makes anyone feel better, Ned Yost would absolutely hit Pillar leadoff. And Gibby probably learned a lot as his bench coach so...
  13. A lot of MLB teams would kill for having just 1 or 2 of what we having hitting 2, 3, 4 and 5.
  14. Too many "middle of the order bats" and not enough room for them all in the middle of the order. That's what pisses me off.
  15. Gibby essentially continues to tell us who is going to bat leadoff: National Post “I like the thought of Kevin doing it, we’ll see what he can do, but Michael’s still an option,” Gibbons said before the Braves game. “Kev, you know, he just has that knack, he puts the ball in play, he’s done it before in the minor leagues,” Gibbons said. Unprompted, he brings up the case against Pillar as leadoff man. “The argument is, well, as a leadoff guy, he doesn’t draw many walks, he’s kind of aggressive,” Gibbons says, doing his best impression of someone with his head stuck in a spreadsheet. “But some guys out there, that type of hitter, have been very successful in the leadoff spot" http://www.nationalpost.com/m/wp/blog.html?b=news.nationalpost.com/sports/mlb/he-puts-the-ball-in-play-toronto-blue-jays-sticking-with-kevin-pillar-at-leadoff-for-now
  16. Offense is out of control
  17. I suppose - the pen is deeper this year
  18. Hard to see Sanchez going to Buffalo. Gibby likes him in the pen too much and I can't see Shapiro/Atkins taking that away from him
