  1. I'm temped to post some awful pretend pic of what Kirk might look like now but I won't. Even though there are loads of good options on Google image search.
  2. This Jays front office seems to like settling out the arb years in advance just so it's done and reduces the possibility of stress and conflict. And also so it's easier to budget. Have they actually even gone to arbitration with any player recently? They've now done this sort of thing with Chapman and Bichette. I was kind of expecting the same for Jansen but would prefer a deal that buys out some FA years instead.
  3. Prob swung and missed here...
  4. Cance to win 1 in 350,000
  5. And then trade him too late of course It's what they do
  6. Edwin with the number showing
  7. Is he the only one who didn't get settled? I think 11 other arb eligible guys got done without it. That's a lot.
  8. When is Bo's arb hearing??
  9. Yeah I can picture it for sure He also looks high AF in this picture
  10. And ejections!
  11. Mayza and Cimber on MLB radio: They love Pete Walker says he's helpful and great to work with Say Mattingly was a great add. "super chill but a great baseball mind" says Cimber who of course played for him in Miami 10-12 guys are already in camp including Vladdy, Springer, Berrios and several from the bullpen Romano - talks about crazy conspiracy theories first 3-4 innings most games
  12. OTOH Kirk is short AND fat but DFAF and just plays hard Love that
  13. LOL @ Cleveland
  14. Yeah f*** it. I'm posting this unapologetically for his baseball play and nothing else. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/~M8AAOSwKthgEFqi/s-l1600.jpg
  15. TY for clarifying I didn't know all those intervals
  16. Cram it your cramhole Leflore! LOL sorry
  17. "here's what baseball with a pitch clock is really like" Except it's 25 seconds not 15
  18. It *sounds* potentially problematic I agrree. Though reporters who have watched the impact on minor league games where they've already implemented all of this overwhelmingly say it seems to work great.
  19. Offense is going to be up
  20. Plus only 15 seconds to throw a pitch
  21. ESPN The new rule: Pickoffs are now considered one version of "disengagements," which consist of any time that the pitcher makes a pickoff attempt, fakes a pickoff, or steps off the rubber, as well as when the defense requests time. Pitchers are allowed two disengagements per plate appearance without penalty. How it will be enforced: After a third step-off, the pitcher will be charged with a balk, unless at least one offensive player advances a base
  22. Stealing bases could be big this year 1B and 2B closer together because the bags are bigger Pitcher limited on throws to first We have the potential to up the running game significantly Springer Bichette Varsho Merrifield (SB leader in the recent past) Keirmeier All legit SB threats Do we think Schneider will be big on amping up the running game?
