  1. Rebelsys and Ozempic both lower blood sugar for diabetics and have a weight loss benefit for anyone who takes them. Ozempic in particular has been prescribed a lot for weight loss in non-diabetics, even though its not officially "approved" for weight loss. Rebelsys is newer but will likely be very popular for weight loss too. Biggest difference is Rebelsys is a pill while Ozempic is given by weekly injection. Diabetes treatment has really come along way... Insulin controls blood sugar of course but causes weight gain so it kinda sucks for Type 2 diabetics because most are already overweight... All these new drugs are better. (Victoza, Jardiance, Ozempic, Rebelsys, Forxiga, etc...)
  2. Game over!!! Jays win the game! Jays win the series! Jays win at life!
  3. Come on Romano Keep it to one run and that's fine
  4. . Yeah. He can sleepwalk into a 125-135 wRC+
  5. Key bats underperforming Vladdy Kirk Springer though he's been better lately All way down in XBH/HR
  6. Holy f*** Keirmaer That's a ridiculous catch
  7. Also who will take his place and be as good or better if he goes to Buffalo for a month? No one at the moment.
  8. Felt like looking of career total fWAR for comparison Molina career WAR 55.7 - played 2-3 years longer than he should have Martin career WAR 54.9 - played just about the right amount of time maybe a year too long Posey career WAR 57.5 - retired kinda early Remarkable how similar their career WAR comes out despite differences in career length. Yadi added almost nothing to his total his last 4 years playing until age 39. Posey OTOH retired after a 5 WAR season at age 34. He probably could have easily tacked on few more positive WAR seasons if he'd wanted to, and he already had the most WAR among the 3. He was certainly the best hitter.
  9. Ouch Big contact by s*** hitters I'm worried
  10. Nice detailed write up on Manoah's possible mechanical problems
  11. Clearly the umps are in on the Rays cheating system
  12. The Rios hit by pitch call?
  13. Flies out to left Rays win Failures by multiple ex Blue Jays who now play for the Cubs
  14. Not that it matters much Pretty much zero chance the Cubs can score 2+ here OMG Yan Gomes pinch hitting with the bases laoded in the bottom of the 9th
  15. And in comes Julian f***in Merryweather in the 9th to load the bases for Diaz and Arozarena Thanks Thanks so much Edit - They brought in Fulmer and he got them out of it
