    Holy s*** Orioles beat the Dodgers. Rays have lost 4 in a row and now are tied with Baltimore for 1st. And they play each other this weekend. Jays only 5.5 behind both

    Hence why they usually select organizational guys for these short stints and let the actual prospects develop in the minors where they should be. They abuse the guy then send him right back down. Or something like that.

    Not so upset about the one loss Much more upset that I think Manoah is going to cost us a bunch of games over the next few weeks or be sent down with no guarantee anyone else will be better atm

    I don't think Boone is a good manager at all but this year's failure is clearly more on Cashman. How much more leeway does he have with the Yankees front office?

    5.5 games behind WC3 with SEA, NYY and BOS ahead of them and CLE 0.5 games behind them With no Mike Trout for the foreseeable future. And a very tough schedule in August.

    When you're so scared of the backlash that would come from trading an icon than you let your return for him dwindle to a draft pick. And miss the chance to trade him for a haul that could have helped your team 10 times more.

    Obviously still HOPING he eventially "sticks as a high quality starter"

    Want to see a ton of wins here while our division and WC rivals have to play each other... During that particular stretch the other AL East teams are mostly playing each other or against the Astros and Twins so that's excellent.

    It's not easy to assemble an entire starting rotation by trade and free agency and not kill the budget but they pretty much did just that But damn would it be nice to see some guys coming up through the system that can stick as high quality starters
