    For sure The vast majority of us thought the offense this year was going to be good and it just hasn't been because so many guys underperforming their projections. The pitching has been better than expected and he put together an excellent bullpen. As upsetting as this season has been they assembled a team that SHOULD have been better than this. MANY writers picked the Jays to win the division this year. I'm not biased for or against Atkins. Just being objective.

    DeJong was so bad while he was here but I'd take him over Espinal the rest of the season if I had a choice

    Buck Martinez for the next 10 years, even after Espinal has been punted around by 5 teams: "He was an All Star for the Blue Jays in 2022!"

    Exactly Those guys are only really at risk for buffet related injuries

    When will he be ready to play again though? Edit: Not eligible until Sept 14. And he'll need a rehab assignment of course.

    Yeah other than maybe younger Springer he's probably the most "toolsy" guy on the team. It's all in there.

    I will agree that I don't like our post season chances against the Orioles specifically. They just seem to have our number this year. But we've beaten some really good teams this year too

    Dude they're underperforming offensively and it's hard to watch at times but the roster doesn't need to be nuked We all know they're better than this The pitching has kept them in it Chances are Vlad Springer and Kirk are all better than this next year
