  1. I'm just glad Thornton is irreversibly gone TBH
  2. Mariners To Acquire Trent Thornton From Blue Jays July 26th, 2023 at 1:31pm CST • By Darragh McDonald The Mariners are acquiring right-hander Trent Thornton from the Blue Jays, reports Jeff Passan of ESPN. Thornton was designated for assignment last week when the Jays acquired Genesis Cabrera. The Mariners are sending infielder Mason McCoy to the Jays in exchange.
  3. Mlbtr 11:53am: The Sox and Rays are indeed discussing Lynn, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times tweets, but a deal between the two parties is not yet seen as imminent. The Rays have interest in a number of starters and are in active talks on multiple starting pitchers.
  4. Godamamit what a s*** show Y'all appreciate Romano a little more?
  5. Holy s*** Phillies came back to win in the bottom of the 9th
  6. Can the Orioles f*** off and lose a game please
  7. Nice Really want a huge inning here though. Please. For once.
  8. Makes perfect sense to use 6 for now
  9. Looks like AA has been the busiest GM so far . Has acquired Taylor Hearn, Pierce Johnson, Yonny Chirinos. Are any of these acquisitions that meaningful?
  10. Seems very slow and late compared to last year
  11. Everyone will anxiously see what Ryu and Manoah do the rest of the season Everyone else I feel good about
  12. Agreed Kikuchi is a lock in the rotation for the regular season. I'd roster him in the post season too as starter or reliever.
  13. And we can send Manoah down multiple more times if we want like during a week with off days or something If Ryu is decent we can do whatever we want with Manoah the rest of the year that's best for his long term productivity and not have to pitch him in the bigs unless he's succeeding
  14. If he can pitch well enough to tag along with Ryu in a 6 man rotation that's good news We only need Gausman, Berrios and Bassitt in a WC series In a 7 game series I'd pick one of the lefties (Ryu or Kikuchi) to go along with them Manoah would have to do something pretty amazing the rest of the way to even consider giving him post season starts
  15. Yeah Feels like we could have just as easily won 3 games or none at all
  16. I didn't know about Jansen Dammit I hope he doesn't miss time
