  1. Good job Bases Loaded Mike Trout
  2. Dinger understands my cock references. Although I saw your graduation pics and you added a few pounds, it's possible that you are struggling to see your own these days.
  3. I think he's gone into the last 2 or 3 seasons looking like he has a position crunch and always seems to come out just fine. Silvergun showed him his cock this week and NJH knew he needed to get a little extra to have a chance. I like the deal for NJH...but hope it backfires in his face as always.
  4. I didn't go quite that far but he was the top of my draft order.
  5. 2017 Jays are now 0-6 in games which I attend. Can I go back to being a full-time Rays fan again? I'd be doing it for all of you really. PS.I'm going to Monday's game.
  6. this is what happens when Boxy wins the "take over as GM for a day" contest. I think Refsnyder is a fine type of guy to target. Out of options next year and competes for a utility role. He's shown in the minors that he can hit for average and draw a walk. I can't say for sure if he plays everywhere cause he isn't good enough at any position or he plays everywhere cause he's a great athlete. If it's because he's an athlete I like the deal.
  7. J4L held it off cause he knew I wasn't using up my data from Cleveland. Playing favourites is wrong.
  8. Cleveland series will be tough. They don't have a great record when I'm there...and I'm in Cleveland for the whole series and then the Monday game back home.
  9. Sanchez was more of an advanced stats vs casual debate though. Could someone with such a low swinging strike rate survive as a starter. With Smoak there were a few supporters early on but this off season people were blaming Smoak for people not signing here
  10. It was good doing business with you I'll see you again for the next GWGDT in 2018
  11. Has there ever been a player who has turned the fans around more than Smoak? There are so few fans which wouldn't have DFA'd him.
  12. vs. Red Sox...who have players. This is what I'm putting my perfect record against.
  13. I'm in agreement. I just don't think a full put up with 2 to 3 100 loss teams and hope the prospects become stars methods are going to work here. You have to look at all possible trades but it's still a pretty good team that is playing badly and playing hurt (much like the Indians every first half before last year). There just are no automatic, you have to do this kind of moves. You listen on everything but there should be zero desperation just to please the fans that think tear downs are easy
  14. if she doesn't already have JFL19 inked on her...than she never really loved you. And she should get that thing on her knuckle looked at
  15. all the Dutch are My favourite part
  16. Spanky you are putting too much pressure on them
  17. Fair enough. These things just pop in my head...usually J4L and I share one brain though
  18. While the Rays slide into 1st. it's 2008 again
  19. I just want it to be more than a 2 person race...but yes I am.
  20. Totally up to J4L as it's his ball and he can take it home any time he wants. But I'd like to propose a double points gamble for 1 week the rest of the season. One contest from now until the end you can "double down" meaning you'll get double points if you cash. You get exactly 1 "double down". There is no penalty if you don't land in a cashing spot (unless you come last which would double your loss to 2 points). I think the rule should be that you have to decide before the contest opens up (so you can't have some low attended contest and decide that you are going to double up because there is only 7 people in it). Can be by private message to J4L if a person wishes to keep quiet about it. Thoughts?
  21. Confidence and bratty are very different. I think a better example is Trevor Bauer. He was considered a problem child because he believed that his (Driveline's) training methods were better than what was happening in the pros. He was vocal about it and didn't want to change. Arizona couldn't handle it and it drove them apart. I don't know if Cleveland approached it better but you haven't heard nearly as much about Bauer vs. Management since. Bo appears to be very honest and upfront that he does not want to change his swing and that he wants to work with the Jays with their high performance team. Seems like they have a good working relationship, so any issues are just media built.
  22. Next year instead of biggest total he should pay out biggest win.
  23. I thought 7th was an MLB rule
