  1. There is zero development formula though. Many players struggle early and then get better, but plenty Brett Lawrie' it and look like superstars for their first 200 PA's before their true talent comes forward. The one certainty is that 6 years and 171 days before free agency is maximising your value. His argument that holding Acuna back until April 25th may end up costing Atlanta a playoff spot is the only argument for calling up a player early which actually holds water. If the Jays end up contending next year, no one is going to care about the first 25 days of the season.
  2. The podcast talking about the West Wildcard team being the Yankees victim raised some eyebrows for me (not actually as I've lost ability to control my facial muscles). 1. I don't think they will pitch Severino in it unless it works out that Tanaka can't go. 2. Yanks are just 3.5 up on Oakland/Houston right now. A road game will be terrible for them. I got them at 52% to get out of the wildcard game. As for SRF. He gets Spring to prove he belongs but as long as he has options he's got to have a short leash. If he doesn't react well and make the improvements they need from him...it's time to concentrate on two pitches and look at the 8th inning role for him.
  3. How about sound bites using lines from the first two shows with a narrator. Sounds like John could edit something together for the sound bites
  4. my prediction for the Pimp in the Bronx is somewhere in between Jason Nix's 2nd MLB start and Jason Nix's third start in Colorado. So... 1.2IP 5 hits, 6ER, 3BB, 4k's, 2 HR 55 Pitches
  5. They don't need to add him next year he is a 2016 college draftee.
  6. I'll go against John here and say it is a zero chance. He doesn't need to be added to the 40 man and New Hampshire is going to the playoffs.
  7. I agree but it probably doesn't take a few minutes. They asked 200 people

  14. Apologize to all those that I started to deal with before the deadline and didn't close. Just got busy and Fantasy took a backseat. Really wish I kept up with my roster for the week though...cost myself 2 categories.
  15. Is there actually a short Dutch person out there?
  16. My only suggestions would be to provide a little more context. P2F did this a few times. Also a mention that you guys don't actually know each other personally would provide context and promote the board. Overall I thought it thought you did an excellent job.
