    jays have been having much better AB for a while now. the lineup is getting deeper as they become more patient. can you imagine having Reyes at the top hitting almost .400??

    I agree.... I'm just pointing out that it really isn't going to take that big of a miracle. it will be hard, but impossible is so far from reality. the entire team is warming up offensively(FINALLY) LATE june they will have Strohman and Reyes, july they get Hutch. Gose and Sierra can be called up and AA can trade away JJ to get what ever players will still need. it's not impossible, just unlikely if the players dont see what they are doing RIGHT now and keep doing it.

    Jays have 16 games left this month. to get to .500 they need to win 12 of those 16 games. that's not impossible. it's going to have to go on the hitting for many of those games. we only have 2 of our 5 starters ready to go, so the spot starters are going to have to give us good efforts. 12/16 would give the jays 22 wins in May. if they can do that, it starts to get interesting in June... really interesting. the big thing is the Yanks, Rays and Os series. Jays need to win all 3 of those series and hopefully sweep one of the 3. keep the dream alive a little longer!!!

    they are paying him for the whole year, might as well get that week of work out of him. lol

    his knuckle is using minimal rotation, but it is still rotation and more velocity always means less bite in any pitch. Dickey actually tries to put more control on his pitch than most other knuckleballers have. Wakfield just threw it up and hoped it was close and didn't get crushed. Dickey actually has a plan. have you seen "knuckeball?" very good movie and RA has some good things he talks about there. if you have not seen, I'd highly recommend it.

    he will be in jays jersey by the all star break if everything goes well getting him stretched out again. maybe they can trade JJ at the deadline if Stroman and Hutch can get into the rotation.

    there will be a hard on alert when stroman starts lighting things up. electric personality with electric stuff. he and Lawrie in the same dugout will be interesting.
