no matter what happens in this game there is one positive for me... it didn't start at 4am!!! I get to sleep tonight and maybe be a real person tomorrow. I hate west coast trips. -

there is a peculiar clause in the CBA that says they can ban players if there is sufficient evidence even without a positive test. it's odd that the players union let a rule like that stand, but pressure is there to clean things up. whether this witch hunt is enough "evidence" is up to the union and they dont seem to be ready to take any heat for the first time. the evidence mus be pretty good if Braun didn't even appeal. Yankees want to get the Arod contract off the books for next year so they can be under the luxury tax and then be a first time offender in 2015. that would mean 17-5% instead of 50% in 2016. that saves them a shitload of money. how they can be considered a "first time offender" is just as odd as the "sufficient evidence" clause. it should make for entertaining reality tv so get some popcorn and chill some beer.

the douche bag rule should be applied in both cases. both have cried fake tears in front of the media and both should be hung from the flag pole. they should be banned for life for flaunting it and then getting caught which would just be the league penalizing them for being retarded s*** bags. they should both get the same ban.
