  1. it was better with the "blue jays suck" chants earlier.
  2. watching this team is fine as long as you turn it off after 5 innings.
  3. Jays=pretty bad Pirates=pretty bad Umpires=pretty s***** review system=f***ing pathetic
  4. Gibbons giving AA a good old fashioned f*** you and the horse you rode in on, by leaving Redmond in the pen all inning. I think Gibbons has made his mind up that they can fire him if they want, he's not playing the s***** pitchers and doesn't care.
  5. at least we know that Ricky Romero was patient zero... call Jerry's kids.
  6. 7 runs on 5 walks and 2 HR in the first inning using 53 pitches.
  7. and it's contagious as hell, the whole pitching staff has had it for a month. hope Jerry Lewis can raise money for a cure.
  8. I think we should all take time to mock the jays draft choices... oh wait, sorry wrong thread.
  9. same 5 guys come in almost every game. they are gassed. the jays have been in almost every game late and that means there is no way Gibbons is using the 3 long mop up guys that he doesn't want on the team, but the pen is burned out and it's only the first week of may. AA is killing us.
  10. sick that the team has to use a short bench just to have 3 losers sitting in the pen playing with themselves. The team could be better without making a trade, but unless Jose is going to move to 3rd and have Gose, Rasmus and melky in the OF Lawrie is not the answer to 2nd. Fransisco needs a fishing net to catch anything that is not hit into his glove. longest he ranged today was 3 steps in and a little to his left. most balls were past him before he moved. He's a DH bench bat at best. Lind is better defensively at first and Ed is better than both. mostly I'm just getting tired of this team giving up leads. losing is bad enough. losing leads almost every game is a killer. if it's not one thing it's another.
  11. Bautista (8 HR)- Dylan, Jonn, o2cui2i Edwin (2 HR) - GD Rasmus (6 HR) - Lawrie (6 HR) - King, Orgfiller Francisco (3 HR) - Melky (5 HR) - Reyes (1 HR) - Navarro (1 HR) - Kratz (1 HR) - Thole (0 HR)- Tolleson (0 HR) - Getz (0 HR) - Gose (0 HR) - Which inning will the jays hit a home run? (pick one) 1 - Jonn, o2cui2i 2 - 3 - 4 - Dylan, GD 5 - King, Orgfiller 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - PICK AND PASS
  12. rebuild wouldn't be bad if the jays could get baseball people in charge of the team. right now we have a f***ing self absorbed accountant and a mail room clerk. 2 idiots who dont s*** about baseball, but do a lot of pretending and embarrass baseball every time they get in front of a microphone.
  13. he is also afraid after last 2 years injuries devastated the rotation. That's why he wont eject Happ, Redmond and Rogers.
  14. Loup and Wagner have been very good as well.
  15. seriously? he has zero range. he's a liability at 3rd. the whole infield had to shift to help cover the s*** he cant get to. like I wrote earlier, Fransisco has to step and dive just to be able to scratch his own ass.
  16. yeap... he could play just about any position. I could see him learning to play short. I think his effort level is amazing. he got to one ball up the middle that should have gone to colby. Lawie ended up 30 feet behind second base. it was still a base hit but the fact that he got to it was insane.
  17. Jays had some really good opposite field hits today. Colby going deep to left center is a big deal. he's extreme pull and only hitting low inner half mistakes this year. If he can lay off the balls and take some outer half pitches the other way he should be more stable.
  18. that hurts more than anything. they could easily be leading the division, but cant get the D, O and pitching to all play 9 innings. Team is sadly short in depth. it's a lot better offensively without Goins. Lawrie is ticking up and has some mean power this year. If colby can get hot and Ed can get some luck the lineup will be very good offensively. they played more than good enough to win again today. unfortunately 1 inning of oops is enough to lose games.
  19. even though Lawrie played shaded up the middle all day, he had a great play going a long way to his left as well. he has range for days and his reaction time is ridiculous! he has 2 steps before most guys move.
  20. Santos will be fine as the 8th inning guy when Jansen comes back
  21. the problem is not the use of the two lefties, it's the fact that Gibbons refuses to use the s***** Happ, Redmond or Rogers unless it's a mop up job. cant use match ups when you only have a 5 man pen and the starters only go 5 innings. the problem is 3 absolutely useless long men who are only on the team in case the team has multiple injuries.
  22. AA looking for some new talent http://insightoutmagazine.files.wordpress.com/2013/05/dumpster.jpg
