spring training for sure... I can tell myself stories about the good old days and cuticle care all the way to ST and back. lol

once you get on the east coast there are lots of parks really close. check Jet blue once you get your start destination. if you book far enough ahead they are really cheap. you can just do a group of one ways and then end up back where you started so that your trip there and back are not too bad. 2 parks in NY, Boston, Baltimore, Cinci, Philly, Pittsburgh... none more than a short flight. besides, you dont want to sit the family in a car every day. lol you get enough of that where you live just getting anywhere. I've been to some parks, but none of the new ones. I'd like to go back to Pittsburgh again. I was at Three Rivers in 89 before that got Demoed. New park looks amazing.

I'd love to go to Cooperstown. maybe one day, but I seem to like sun, beaches and cheap food better than americans in smallsville. it's 5000km to the closest mlb park. I'll get to a jays game or two in 2016. dont think I'll be back before then.

I was happy I had the $1500 to fix my car this week. put my trip back to Bali off for at least 18 months.

you're right. he did get one. career .165 hitter against LHP, but he only has 123 AB vs LHP--- hopefully he can learn to sit back a little and at least get his OBP up so he doesn't hurt them against them

Lawrie has better range, better reaction and better arm.... Goins is Tabler's guy, he's got soft hands. Goins bat doesn't play well at any position except bat boy.

his range isn't great, but this is the best option the jays have as it stands. there are no other viable options to cover second and it would probably be easier to pick up another 3rd baseman for next year. Lawrie is premiere at either position and for now this is the teams best overall solution.
