    could be a lot of people. there are still a lot of teams who use "gut feeling" as a indicator for talent. All teams have some form of analytic team but not all use the data to make their decisions.

    not sure I'd say that it's silly. it's the way the rest of the world moves assets from one team to another. so everywhere in the world, except north america, does it this way.... They all think our way is lame. lol

    we could really use a premiere left handed bat. I'm still with Spanky that we need pitching, but a left handed power bat would be very useful. Revere Donaldson Bautista Davis EE Tulo Martin Travis Pillar sounds nice....

    Björn Skifs had to drag his concert gear and tight jeans out of storage. he'd all but disappeared and now he's a hit again. did a concert tour after the GOTG sound track was released. lol first song to be top of the charts twice with 30 years in between. lol edit: most songs on the soundtrack gave new life to the old songs and put them back on the charts.

    their pen is a big part of that. they have 5 guys who just don't give anything up most days. the pen is the best part of their team.

    sure... if you don't mind your team sucking dead moose for 4-5 years, then use those draft pics to build on, that's great. Astros have done the same. Rays did it before them.

    it will be interesting to see how our system gets rebuilt. interesting times from now until next draft to see how things will be run. We won't really know until next summer how Shapiro will do things. Shapiro said that if he is presented with all the information the decision is already made. (Paraphrasing of course.) I hope Shapiro means metrics will make the decisions

    2+ WAR, 200+ innings of 4 ERA for 12 million... bargain every day of the week.

    risk management.... if Tulo is healthy for 4 years he'll be great to have around, but if he's not that salary could be crippling for the team. I could see them trading him this off season, but I doubt it's on the "to do" list.

    to finally have a baseball first guy in charge could be a huge shift for the team, should be... he talked a lot about collective decisions. It will be very interesting to see, if any, what saber guys he brings into the fold to help with the date to make those decisions. no disrespect to AA but it will be very nice to here legit discussions on why player moves are made instead of just about AA's bowel discomfort.

    lots of people from Southern Ontario as well. People who hate the humidity go to Phoenix. My Grandfather had an Airstream parked there for 20 years.
