He was hitting so well recently, at this point I think it's more mental than a hitch in his swing. Personally I'd say that we bench Melky a couple games just to give him some rest, but not put him on the DL, I don't think AA wants people going batshit over another DL move.

That's completely fair but he won't be able to prove his bat in that circumstance. Best case scenario here is Colby gets hot, Gose gets a few ABs and hits somewhat well, we trade Rasmus and let Gose take over.
