I wouldn't be surprised if some ******** along the lines of the knuckleball provides more randomness, therefore is harder to project accurately, is at play. Although I'd still take the U on 4.5 ERA. If that was the bet.

That's actually pretty okay, they just haven't done a great job of supplementing it with outside talent.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was the league simply preferring one team over the other like you said rather than actually hating one of the teams, on second thought. I don't think the league hates us but I could see them simply liking Brooklyn more.

Little league is a ton of fun. But playoff basketball >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>[...]>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> that. I don't know how one can view basketball as boring for the most part. Certain aspects like fouling, sure, but it's a very exciting game with constant action. How one can enjoy baseball while thinking basketball is /boring/, I just don't get lol.
