Anyone think we need to keep Rasmus? He's not gonna command a lot of money after this year but people think he's been way worse than he actually has. League average bat and his glove is good, so long as we can learn to position him.

And it's not like we can add an impact player to push us from mediocre to contender. Personally, I'd be all for trading Reyes this offseason, so long as we can find a cheap alternative. There isn't a ton out there though, unless we added a Drew or Lawrie. Aside from that, it's Assdribble, and ... Rafael Furcal.

If Reyes declines, he's a huge liability on the payroll. He's barely an average SS making superstar money. If he goes below average, that's a huge portion of the team's payroll allocated to an aging, below average asset. He's our Carl Crawford.
