How many minor league picks does GP have? Anyway, lots to like for both sides but I'd say GP won that one.

I don't nearly have enough knowledge to know if it'd be wise to trade Bernier. I have no idea what teams would give up or how long they want the rebuild could last. If they got a USEFUL package, not a second round pick or some ********, and they wanted like a 5 year rebuild when Bernier might be getting up there, I'd probably deal him. If we got a couple draft picks and we were going for like a 3 year rebuild, I wouldn't. I'm sure we could get another goalie within 5 years, lol.

Now we're worried about the Leafs not being bad enough? Lol where there's a will there's definitely a f***ing way to lose with the Leafs. If they want one of those guys bad enough, they'll get them. Being bad enough certainly is NOT a concern for the Leafs right now. Trade Bernier and JVR and this team already slips way down. Get fair value for Kessel and we give Buffalo a run for their money.

It's comparable to basketball. You need a good system in place but you still need good players to execute it. Dion/Kessel get more than him a year I think
