I don't think so. I remember there being reports that we would have passed on Giolito. I wanted Giolito/Gallo so bad lol. That was just a stacked draft class, really hard to make a mistake there.

Ugly. Very ugly. His mean projection is something like a .308/.434/.742 slash line (OBP/SLG/OPS). He needs to be a not-s*** OF defender to be useful.

Not Blue Jays related but here's a good article (as usual) from Birnbaum, this on the breakdown of how much of BABIP is luck versus pitcher: http://blog.philbirnbaum.com/2015/05/pitchers-influence-babip-more-than.html It's actually just proving an article from years ago in a different method but Birnbaum's explanations are fantastic in general. Very good writer.
