  1. Playoffs will be easy to make. Ride Stroman every three days.
  2. Exactly. These guys pitch and we start feeling good again, then the other days we have to put some of the garbage that we've been putting out and you lose all hope. No momentum.
  3. Try to be optimistic but an offensive lineup that includes Goins, Pillar, Lopez, Barney, it's not very promising.
  4. Was just thinking the same. A couple not so s***** games, Osuna not blow a couple and we're right there.
  5. Reminded me that I do not miss Dickey one bit. What a terrible trade that was.
  6. Interesting to see the two routes each took. I mean seeing them in person is going to be different than just looking at the stats for promotion but Bo had/has much better A ball number and they've been more patient with him and Acuna is fast tracked. Would have been interesting to see how Bo handled quicker promotions since nothing has slowed him down yet.
  7. What time is the deadline?
  8. Exactly. Pretty sad return for what he's done. (Based on that they said two low prospects, haven't looked into who it is)
  9. Bo 2-3 and Vlad 1-2 in a game where the team had four hits. Bo now hitting .400 in Dunedin and .447 in his last ten games. Unreal.
  10. No, I have no problem if they go for it, assuming they make enough moves. You thinking a bunch of our mid 30s players are all going to bounce back is what I'm talking about.
  11. I'll bump this in a year. Let's see who the stupid one is then.
  12. You said bad years not so much hurt. But even still: Call me embarrassingly stupid but that's a lot of guys with the odds agains them to turn it around next year. I think we can be a decent team but there's jus too many holes and hopes for too many aging, injury prone, meh guys to turn it around to be a top team.
  13. Who are these ten we're talking about?
  14. Thanks. Let's hope he can continue and finish the season strong.
  15. Do you know if the changes were recent? He's really puzzling this year.
  16. Unfortunately, his next start, or the one after will probably be a s***** one like the rest of his season.
  17. This. He probably struggled through and forced himself to make it this far. Maybe he knew he could get a big payday and didn't want to committ to a long contract when he has no interest in playing. Atleast try and finish the year though, kinda silly. Or maybe he's leaving at his peak to hit the FA market so he can't decline any more this year
  18. Wonder if BTS still goes to the Cardinals board to talk about the trade?
  19. Oh thanks. Figured something was up. Is there a box score anywhere? That Eloy Jimenez has a nice looking swing.
  20. I called this out atleast ten years ago and can't/couldn't believe how poorly the minor leagues are being ran by organizations. You have 18,19,20 year olds still maturing and growing, getting paid peanuts (most of them), more often then not, they can't afford healthy food and/or don't know how to prepare it. You can pay a guy $20M/year but can't drop a million or two on a chef and food for your minor leagues? This is your future you're investing in, why would you neglect it. Now I'm not sure how much it's changed over the past few years but years ago there was no investment in nutrition and fitness at the minor league level.
  21. He's hoping they do it again!
  22. Blow it up. Prepare for Vlad/Bo era.
  23. Just too inconsistent. Looks like he's about to right himself and has a brutal game. Hopefully he just keeps building on that and gets more and more consistent.
