September 19: Buffalo had Grant Rogers on the mound Saturday, toeing the opposite rubber as Zak Kent of Rochester. Rogers got into trouble from the start of the game. In the first inning, he gave up two doubles that led to a run and an RBI single, putting the Bisons in a 2-0 hole early. In the second, Rogers almost worked around a lead-off double, but Rochester cashed it in with an RBI single to left. While the first two innings were rocky for Rogers, he settled in and was perfect in the third and fourth innings. Yohendrick Piñango was able to cut into the deficit for Buffalo by blasting a solo home run to lead off the bottom of the fourth inning. The round-tripper was his ninth of the season at Buffalo and came off the bat at 112.4 mph, going 425 feet to right field. Buffalo couldn't keep Rochester in check, though, as they added four more runs and held a 7-1 lead entering the bottom of the ninth. In the final frame of the game, Anthony Santander ripped an RBI double to right, and Daz Cameron knocked him in on a sacrifice fly to right field. Buffalo just could not get the bats going enough to climb out of their early hole; they fell 7-3. 

September 20: Sunday was the final game of the season for Buffalo, and their bats came to play, but their pitching would ultimately let them down. Yohendrick Piñango cranked out two big blasts, and Josh Rivera also had a home run. The game started with three scoreless innings from Josh Winckowski. Things went south after he left the game, though. John Klein, Daniel Guerra, and Devereaux Harrison all surrendered runs, with Klein and Harrison giving up five each. Sam Gardner even gave up three runs, but all three were unearned. Buffalo scored a bunch of runs in the game, starting with Rhylan Thomas’ two-RBI single in the second and another run when Piñango walked with the bases loaded. In the fourth, it was Piñango's first home run that provided the scoring, a two-run blast to right field. In the seventh, it was a solo shot from Piñango, while in the eighth, Josh Kasevich walked with the bases loaded to bring home a run. Rivera smacked his solo home run in the ninth, which would ultimately be the final run scored for Buffalo on the season. The Bisons fell 15-8, ending their season nine games under .500.
