I sure hope with Montero that a walk or a single is not an automatic double!

 

Montero has been pretty bad so far, thought we finally had an OK backup catcher.

Avoid the sweep today, then sweep Oakland & the Angels, then make some good trades and ride the wave of optimism to the playoffs - easy!

 

Who, am I kidding, let's be happy with getting through today with no more injuries!

JD's hurt... it's so obvious.

 

 

At this point just sit down for week or two or three and get healthy. Admire him being a gamer but it's getting tough to watch.

Definitely. Having issues moving and throwing, no power at the plate. I sometimes wish they'd just DL guys for 2 weeks, let them take care of it, then be actually good the rest of the year. Playing through the injury at replacement level, while not allowing it to heal, doesn't help anyone.

Another game...another blowout...another day where the offense is pure s***...another day where we give up more runs than we have hits...:(

 

Another day where an opposing really good pitcher looked like a really good pitcher.
