The historically bad start to the season makes the playoffs unlikely this year. However, trading expiring and short term contracts, a few prospects getting playing time, and if people like Sanchez are injury free and get back to in form, then next season can be a lot more promising than some here would have you believe.

 

The second wildcard spot is wide open but there's likely too much ground to make up.
