Derp, he sat a 1/2 an hour with an 8 run lead, tons of pitchers at the age of 22 would lose concentration. I guess it's safe to say, you don't want to show them numbers.

I'll watch and get back to you but I suspect you're just referring to his electric yet wild stuff luckily being in the vicinity of the strike zone for the most part.

No, his electric fastball, and his devestating curveball. Watch it.

I was trying to get figure out what you meant with the pics.... felt purty dum when I figured it out.

He blew chunks in the 6th.

After two quick outs

And most were wondering where the f*** is Gibby. After the single and the walk with 2 outs, it was clear Sanchez was gassed. Hendricks was warmed up, and Gibby sat on his hands.

He wants to cherry pick an inning in which Sanchez had an 8 run lead, it's tough to come back out sitting that long and yes, King is cherry picking.

I'm looking at the start as a whole, you're telling me to look at just the first 5 innings.

Who's cherry picking here?

the step forward today was that he was missing in the same spot a lot. That means small adjustments getting him in the zone. it wasn't all over the place like it was earlier in the season. That's a step forward.

After 5 IP, 3 hits, 4 BB, 5 K, 2 ER

At least one of the BB was on a pitch in the zone

Sat on the bench for ~40 minutes while the Jays batted around, then gave up a hit, 2 walks, and wild pitch

Solid outing

there was at bat where 3 of the 7 pitches were in the same spot. Two of them called balls. He was wild but most of it was after the 2 quick outs in the 6th. I think the walks are deceiving but still his fastball command leaves a lot to be desired. He can't keep walking 4+ guys a start, he'll get destroyed

Time to right the wrongs and right the ship again, Nothing like a Lil 12 or ten game winning streak starting the run from this series and carrying thought next week to cure or fix this team right now and here!

The fight was terrible, non stop no action..I would have disqualified both fighters for non participation. Not even a mark or even a slight swelling on either fighters face, they should be fined.

So, then, he was crap through 5 ... and then went into explosive nuclear diarrhea in the 6th ... so we should ignore the 6th? That's the point of all this? Dude walked 4 in 5 innings. For a guy who has an inherent control/command issue that won't go away, walking 4 in 5 innings as your "solid outing" is really bad.

right now he isn't hurting the team, in fact he might sadly be the best starter on this team

not finding a team willing to take Navarro off our hands probably meant the money wasn't there.

I don't get that as justification for inaction. That's Rogers choice. This is a business but as a fan its still fair to question the commitment to putting a winning team on the field. I understand that our payroll now should be enough with the right players on the roster - but it isn't/hasn't and while we will lose Mark B and RA contracts (400 IP/year we need to replace) after this year, the end of next we lose huge value deals on Jose and Edwin. I'm not seeing the clear direction of mgm/ownership.

Reyes (DL) and MB from MIA deal - $42mm this season. Rough start for value this season on that.

Win over Kluber was great to see.

Definitely too many walks, but in my opinion it's also not hard to see he has the best stuff on the team. If he learns to control it he'll be an ACE, big 'if' at this point but if I'm in charge I'm giving him all season at least to find out. Especially with this garbage staff. A few innings he had control and was completely dominate.

I think he might have a career like Ubaldo, but maybe not as dominating at his peak.

With so much offense would not league average pitching be enough! Lol

If the bats put up consistently 6 runs a night we still would win more then we are losing right now even.

Feast or Famine from them and our pitching staff so far. When the both line up it either ugly or awesome!

No it's called offense. Team has been unlucky so far. Positive run differential.

Dear cyborg,

It has come to my attention that I for one can not believe you, shocking as it my sound!

Your lack of programming is flawed as you suck in the Home Run Contest.

Hence and furthermore I will not believe you till you do.

Sincerely Big Bouncey Blue Balls :)

P.s. LOL
