Sparky12 Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I love Cecil in the role he is in, great to have a guy that can come in at any big spot and take on their best hitters. The worst thing about the closer is you leaving him sitting there waiting for the 9th when the biggest point in the game might be in the 7th or 8th

Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Everything is clicking for this team right now... They are hitting, pitching, running, playing D
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 bautista can't hot breaking balls anymore lol.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Everything is clicking for this team right now... They are hitting, pitching, running, playing D and bautista is playing like crap.. impressive
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 When Reyes comes back and Bats heats up, is this team going to score +6 runs a game???
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Assuming McGowan is just warming to get some work He better not be coming in
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Might be more effective to do so at the deadline, provided the return gave us more immediate and future value than it subtracted. He'd have an extra 1/2 year on the contract, and a few teams that look desperate for relief help (like the Tigers). Yep I'd be fine with that... the casuals would go insane though.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Definitely. WHIP and ERA aren't great stats (especially for relievers), but Cecil is at 1.46/0.73 and Miller at 2.77/1.35. Miller is more of a straight LOOGY. In pure stats I think Miller's been better... but I think (emphasis on think) Cecil's platoon splits are less extreme and he's just plain dirtier. Plus, Squints' TWTW is probably off the charts.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Don't go there, Rockies. Don't start this. Is being f***ing retarded an NL West trend now?
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 JPA has a better hitting approach then Bautista...what is wrong with Bautista?
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 LOL, edwin would break him in half what a clown, Lind has to make them pay.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Stoeten's fatter, sweatier older brother IS HAVING NONE OF IT NONE OF IT

jaysfaithful8 Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 s*** that was on the elbow Ribs/oblique. If the muscle is sore, it could impact his swing.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Jays better plunk someone in the 9th, not like they'll face each other again in the near future.
Pete_7 Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Jays better plunk someone in the 9th, not like they'll face each other again in the near future. I'd rather just win the game
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 The pitcher was being an idiot after, makeing faces and being a tool at edwin. WTF, jays never did anything to bring this on. Idiots.
