I don't think fans should give up on Berrois just yet as he's bounced back before. Unless the relationship is truly beyond repair then fine but otherwise I really don't see the point; they'd either have to eat a good amount of his salary or take back another sucky contract so I don't see the point in trying to move him unless they absolutely have to. Just because they might start the season with 6 starters we all know that won't last so he'd be good depth to have.

I know every big market team is linked to pretty much everyone but I think a lot of us still look at these rumours anyway. I say no thank you unless they miss out on all of the big bats but there are better options and I'm pretty sure the front office knows that. Besides we don't know what he's like as a person/teammate and that's my main concern. Maybe this makes me weird but I really don't care how good a player is if they're not a good team-oriented guy then I don't want the Jays to sign them. That's why I really hope they don't acquire Marte; he wouldn't "fit." Maybe I care too much about this but I really don't care.
