Bichette's start at third has been underwhelming. Through 27 at-bats, he's like hitting .111 with a .138 OBP and .249 OPS—no home runs, only 3 hits, and 8 strikeouts in 20 plate appearances lols. I think this transition from shortstop highlights defensive limitations like poor range (1st percentile), arm strength (36th), and sprint speed (21st). With a -45 wRC+ and NO real signs of offensive surges, honestly he's not really carrying the lineup.

Gotta disagree a bit here. Yeah, Bassitt’s not getting any younger, but calling his 2025 “mediocre” feels off. He still gave the Jays a ton of innings when a lot of rotations around the league were falling apart. His consistency and durability have real value, especially on a team that’s leaned on him to stabilize things. He’s also one of the smartest pitchers out there—adapts his approach, mixes speeds, and keeps hitters guessing even when his stuff isn’t elite anymore. That kind of craftiness doesn’t disappear overnight. If he’s open to a shorter deal, I’d absolutely keep him in the rotation. Guys like Bassitt have a lot more left in the tank than the stat line sometimes shows.
