    Currently Ernie leading 2B all star voting (yes!!!) and vlad leading 1B all star voting (please no). I’d say give ole vladdy an all star game break to rest ffs. Don’t reward garbage play due to popularity.

    This is true. He’s been amazing for us this year but is bound to come back down to earth. Definite 6,7, maybe 8 inning solid reliever

    I really honestly think vladdy is battling through some s*** while also trying way too hard. Long WS run then WBC, also injuries to any hitters that could offer “protection” around him. Just kind of s*** on top of s*** on top of s*** overall. Definitely pressing too much. I think the contract overall will be just fine for a generational talent we seem to get one piece back then 2 more get injured this year

    He’s actually been managing the bullpen just fine (Ernie bunt was another story manager decision wise). Just unfortunate Varland then fisher had some bad ones. Fisher been lights out mostly all year too, Yankees are just very capable of running into home runs any time it seems

    Really hate that’s it’s come to this as springer is awesome. Just happens to really suck this year lol they’re really not doing him any favors keeping him in the lead off position to “figure it out”

    For sure, and not just 1 or 2 starts. Max can be lights out one start and total crap the next lol we’ll see how it goes. Nice to have 5 actual starters back in the rotation though at the moment

    I was wondering that myself…kinda forgot vladdy got out at second and then was happy Luke’s was running, then surprised when he didn’t make it. Laboring for sure but damn is he hitting and fielding nicely!
