    Oct. 1: OF Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (left hamstring strain) close to running bases Gurriel has been sprinting as he ramps back up, but his final hurdle is still to run the bases at full speed and bounce back well, which the Blue Jays hope to see him do soon. He's checked off every other box to this point, putting the club in line to make a decision by the final day of the season. Ideally, the Blue Jays would like to get him into game action before the postseason.
