  1. For this guy... Severino is a power bat, with even more power than Johan Barrios from his 6-foot-2 frame with the bat speed and strength projection for more power coming. He's a switch-hitter who could have plus raw power from both sides of the plate, with more advanced hitting ability from the right side. He has shown a solid approach for his age, too, with the patience to draw walks and get himself into good counts. An average runner, Severino is an offensive-oriented infielder who might start off at shortstop but will likely move elsewhere, with a plus arm that would fit at third base.
  2. Kirk, Belt, Jano and Vlad drag that down.
  3. Brew Crew get Santana, Pirates get Jhonny Severino
  4. He's staying in Cali...
  5. I just bench him in fantasy now. Oof...
  6. CGSO, 1 hit 3BB's and 8K's. Legend.
  7. Ohtani with a 1 hit SO through 6IP with 6 K
  8. Yes, it would be depth/insurance, just responding to L54's comment on him and thought of him as well. I'm not going to try and pretend to know what this FO does, I don't expect much at the deadline, likely an arm and a complimentary bat.
  9. Gausman, Berrios and Bassitt are on record of support in the potential 6 man, it's the most likely scenario and as Zwelling mentioned they'll just manipulate matchups as they see fit with Ryu and Manoah sitting an extra day etc, it's a good luxury to have... I was thinking Lorenzen could be a target also, he can start and come out of the pen, makes sense.
  10. It's not that bad, man... Quero's a top 100 spect ranked 84th and Kyle Bush is a 45 FV...
  11. Something's brewing here, right? They have to be moving Taylor out in a trade, also... that infield is loaded with these swiss army knife type guys, first Kike and now Rosario and they're rumoured to be looking for 2 SP? Certainly is a WTF move, lmao.
  12. Yeah, and they Plunked Semien right away... beef tonight, lol.
  13. It started way before that. Alvarez first AB off the IL plunked, Semien gets plunked, Semien's next AB goes yard and jaws Valdez down the 3rd base line, Maldonado and Semien exchanged words, nothing came of it. Next batter Valdez goes up and in on a wild pitch, more jawing, lol. Next inning the slam and Maldonado barks again as they're getting annihilated, benches clear, umps eject Semien and Maldonado. I didn't get the Semien ejection, but it's certainly tense. Oh, Semien tried to get at Maldonado I see now.
  14. These guys in Texas are going to brawl. Benches cleared, nothing doing right now though.
  15. I knew they wouldn't trade him, they're too close to the postseason.
  16. The deadline is in 5 days, Ryu won't even get a start, Alek will.
  17. I feel they'll go with a 6 man rotation, after tomorrows off day they play 17 straight.
