  1. Atkins' might have paid a few million too much for IKF, but it isn't egregious or anything. Nor am I fan of the deal, but it was pretty obvious they're looking at run prevention again with the signings of both IKF and KK which was a steal at 10.5M. The writing was on the wall with both acquisitions. They've missed on ISO.
  2. lmfao... I've read they are already trying to rectify the situation, but it's damn hilarious in the meantime.
  3. T-Swag showing off dem skillz!
  4. Or any other SP prospect that's busted, amirite?
  5. Worth it.
  6. Looks good JimmyC, nice pick, I wanted him at 70/71 but I traded them picks, so I was still glad you took him at 64. IIRC...
  7. Matsui just carved up Lux, he has a nice splitter. Struck out the side.
  8. 3 pitchers to get out of the inning...
  9. Thank you, yes. He had a robe on, Millar had a feeling it was coming, lol. Dodgers just put up an 8 spot in the top of the first ST game, hahaha. Musgrove got rocked.
  10. Or that dad bod reliever on Toronto, name escapes me right now, he came out to Millar for an interview and he had only a jock on underneath, lol. He was in his late 30's near 40 a few years back.
  11. lol... yeah, it's a step up on AAA ball or equivalent. Nice for him, hope he shoves for another year or 2.

  14. Those uniforms, lol.
  15. Big Hoz! lol
  16. Yeah, he threw hard back in the day with the traditional overhand windup, he adjusted well with the submarine angles, lol.

He's a legit top 2 way player for a long time and just gets better, Marner was in the top 10 in '23, but not anymore. Leafs just weren't getting it done with their depth, they've been much better as of late. Treviling's signs haven't showed what everyone thought. He gets at least the deadline and playoffs this year from me, before I bark.

  19. I was talking about results, he actually threw hard before he blew his arm out. Then reverted to the submarine by the pitching coach who knew hr was a good SS and threw from side arm angles and it worked with no pain. Dude was fantastic, met him a couple times.

    Ignorance is bliss.
  21. And Judge says his toe requires maintenance for the rest of his career, poor Yankee bastard... https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/39564704/aaron-judge-toe-require-constant-maintenance-rest-career
  22. Devers at camp today, poor Bosux bastard...
  23. Rendon is being dragged through the mud for his comments yesterday, I don't think he said anything wrong. Fans are so fickle... https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/39558347/anthony-rendon-baseball-never-top-priority-me
  24. His defense at 3rd base has been good enough, albeit in a small sample, that's cheap. It's a strange thing. Rosario, 28, has been an everyday big league shortstop for many years but is coming off a challenging season. He started the year with the Guardians but was hitting just .265/.306/.369 when the deadline was approaching, with that production translating to a wRC+ of 87. His shortstop defense had always been questionable but it became downright problematic in 2023. He was tagged with grades of -16 Defensive Runs Saved and -15 Outs Above Average with Cleveland. The Guards flipped him to the Dodgers for Noah Syndergaard, and Rosario’s new club moved him to the other side of the bag most of the time. He seemed to take well to the position switch, at least in a small sample of 190 innings, producing 3 DRS and OAA at an even zero. His bat was roughly the same, as he hit .256/.301/.408 as a Dodger for a wRC+ of 93.
  25. So move...¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Hurr...
