    Like I said mate, arguably. I loved watching Schmidt through my bunter and tweener years, great ballplayer. Baseball has certainly evolved since then, and why I have him(Beltre) and Robinson as a virtual tie. It's certainly a great topic.

    I disagree on Schmidt, and certainly A-Rod for reasons Org mentions(he should've stayed at SS, with the Yankees). If Arenado and Machado stay healthy with long careers they might join the conversation.

    Congrats to Beltre on hitting his 3,000th knock today, this guy's criminally under-rated. Arguably the best 3rd baseman ever, alongside Brooks Robinson!
