    It feels good to beat the better teams and be the spoiler. They also want to help their stats for future contracts. I don't think any player would ever not try to win. Being lazy and complacent is different but there's big money on the line.

    you can pull up last 5 games of every bad starter we face for these s*** teams and you usually find at least 1 dominating game.

    27m career earnings is pretty good, he will be ok. The rage from having a bad season and costing yourself 10s of millions probably is just a phenomenon in baseball that makes these guys want to hit women. It seems to be pitchers who cant control themselves. This incident was 2 days after his terrible start where he was getting boo'd by his home fans.

    Astros would have 63 losses. If Jays sweep we have sole possession of the wildcard by a .5 regardless of what Texas and Houston do.

    Out of over 250 father son duos to play in MLB, I think only 1 group is in the HOF and Guerro and Biggio could very well be number 2 and 3. Coming up the same year for the same team. They both have some work to do but the name recognition should get them 10 WAR head start in the voting.

    you root for whoever wins the first game and hope they get a sweep. Honestly don't think you can go wrong with any of the 2 teams winning though any amount of that series. Probably want Astros to win though. It only really matters if we can at minimum split 2 with Texas.

    imagine being able to buy almost a condo in Toronto in 1 year work. Picked the wrong profession. You could just retire after 3 years with 1m free and clear. Probably don't even have to buy their own lunches too, just pocket the money.
