    Will Smith had a hairline fracture on his hand Sep 3rd, he just spoke about his injury and availability for todays game. He will start on the bench but can swing and play if called upon. Why can't we have nice things like this (Bo presser with a full update on his injury and availability going forward)

    The Santander factor,,,,, The problem with not starting Schneider is I don't see a scenario where he comes in as a pinch hitter; if the Yankees bring in Tim Hill to pitch to Barger maybe? but that's unlikely given he isn't used much. So that bat is left on the bench at least for today; he HAS to start vs Fried and Rodon.
