    He is a gifted hitter. A place like Driveline wasn't around when his father played so he had to figure things out on his own - there's no need for that anymore. Vlady's swing needs to be changed so it's more swing plane oriented, this will allow him to get the ball up in the air. The problem is obvious, too many ground balls - this is something Driveline can fix.

    different times, I doubt it has anything to do with smarts. Hitting is complicated and it's why some teams have started using external resources, outfits that specialize in biomechanics.
