  1. Feels like Lukes hasn’t gotten a hit in a while
  2. Straw is unstoppable, ha ha. Although him on 3rd with 1 out hasn’t gone well.
  3. Can’t say I’ve ever seen 2 starters go down to leg injuries
  4. Astros went full on 2026 Jays with 13 left on base
  5. Why does it feel like Gausman got us the worst return?
  6. Thank goodness. I was hoping Hoffman would be gone too, but that might not happen
  7. How does it work if there is no 2027 season?
  8. Sucks we have to keep trading prospects for starting pitching since we can’t develop any. Also, our offense sucks and doesn’t seem like there’s anything in the system to look forward to. Seems like they are trying to turn us into Cleveland with good starting pitching (although they seem to be able to develop their own pitchers) and a weak offense.
  9. Atta boy Varland. 🤣 Both of the Cards runs were walks.
  10. I’m not even shocked they couldn’t put a ball in play there
  11. Vlady at rock bottom today. Turned that walk into his third strikeout
  12. I fully expect him to get hurt based on their luck so far this year
  13. 6 runs on 2 hits. 😆 It’s not enough the offense blows. The starting pitching is also a joke.
  14. He’s blown a bunch of games and given endless rope to players in the lineup (like Springer still batting cleanup). It doesn’t matter. This isn’t a serious organization. Maybe if Atkins could develop any pitching at all then Schneider wouldn’t have all these awful pitchers to keep putting in.
  15. Meh. There’s a 0% chance we win any of these games in Boston anyways.
  16. One could also say he brought back the same team in 2025 that finished in last place the previous season, but got lucky by a fluke season where everyone over performed and now they’re back to the norm. It’s tough to excuse a last place finish with a top 5 payroll, let alone twice in three years. They also didn’t win a single playoff game in 3/4 of those appearances you mentioned. My biggest issue is the pitching. They haven’t been able to develop any pitchers in the decade he’s been here (outside of Manoah for 1-2 years and now Yesavage). We are relying on guys like Scherzer and have nothing in our system to navigate injuries. Didn’t he promise wave after wave of talent like the Rays and Brewers have?
