I am in good company then! It took me much too long to get to Canada but had a great trip. Saw Blue Jays and watched the Raptors play off in Jurassic Park, totally sold on all things Canadian.

Yes definitely. Gareth Bale is the interesting case and why I asked the question. Madrid want shot of him but he is happy on the golf course picking up €350k euros a week unless he gets a move he wants so he stays and they have to pay him. In baseball they would pretty much be able to move him on much easier as far as I can see. Anyway, sorry have taken this off topic.

Thanks a lot - player power has gone mad in football especially with the Chinese league beginning to become a player. You are seeing a lot more of players refusing to play if they dont get transferred.

Hi all I was in Toronto a couple of months ago, and took in a game and have been following the Blue Jays since - having never seen baseball before. Being from London and as a football/ soccer fan, I have been picking things up as I am going along but just have a (probably dumb) question. In football the player has all of the power re. movement, and will only move if it suits them. I saw that Stroman kicked off about moving to the Mets, am I right in thinking that he has no choice but to go if he is traded? Thanks
