  1. I'm assuming they're going to play Biggio at 2nd base, which means Nerd Power is SOL
  2. So much for the Feierbum knuckleball experiment
  3. The Lefties and treehuggers would never go for that, unfortunately. Those islands are called "polders" in Holland BTW
  4. I still think he'll be hardpressed to knock in 100, but I hope I'm wrong
  5. For those who missed it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYL23YBFGV4
  6. Exactly. Plus you also have to have a decent average of around .250 or so. Tellez is unlikely to get anywhere close to 100 ribbies though because the guys in front of him aren't getting on base much
  7. Yasmani had season ending surgery in 2017. I have no idea why he missed 2018 and is now in the minors because I dont follow him closely. He's making $68.5 mill over 6 years however, so I think its working out very well for him Duvall sucked last year and he was rightfully sent down. Thames only had one 30-HR year in 2017, in 2018 he only played in 96 games and didnt hit anywhere close to 30. So the examples you are giving are poor. As I said before, if you can hit around 30 homers/yr steady you will always have a job in MLB
  8. If you can hit around 30 homers a year you will always have a job in MLB, regardless of the other stats you mention. Maybe not always with a contender, but always on some team somewhere. Like I said earlier, Tellez is only 24, its his first full year in the majors, you have to give it a few years to assess how good he will become. He is certainly not an average hitter IMO
  9. I hate extra inning games. They are murder on the bullpen
  10. Exactly. He was taking homerun cuts out there
  11. Nice to see Montoya reads my posts Thats some good clutch hitting by Danny
  12. Montoya had better pinch-hit Jansen for Maile in the 9th
  13. Galvis has been a pleasant surprise
  14. How else is he gonna get on base??!!
  15. They're pitching around McKinney respecting his awesome power.....LOL
  16. Now is the time for McKinney to do something
  17. Well....he has a lifetime ERA of 3.48. In his AS season he had gave up 63 walks in 30 games. So far this year he has given up 29 walks in 10 starts (not including this game). Its a bit much, but I think it'll balance itself out over 30 starts. Especially if he keeps getting a friendly umpire like we have today
  18. Okay, but he has crazy movement on his pitches. Hard to control sometimes. So long as his ERA stays around 3.50 to 3.80 I dont think the walks matter too much
  19. How exactly is 2 runs in 5 innings sucking?? Thats a 3.60 ERA
  20. Vladdie is on course to hit 50 dingers
  21. 424 feet. Off the facing of the 2nd deck in dead centrefield
