Maybe I'm missing something, but why does Buck frequently say that a certain batter does well against the Jays as a team? i.e. "Gardner has had success hitting against the Blue Jays throughout his career"?
Surely the pitching rotation this year isn't the same as it was two years ago, or four years ago, or six years ago. What makes a statement like Buck's remotely noteworthy? Or is it simply intended to be interesting trivia?
