    Maybe an exaggeration but the NHL's product is not remotely close to entertaining, game is bogged and watered down.

    I also hate how the media pedanders to hockey as well and doesn't cover other sports enough, and LOL at it being the most exciting sport, Hockey maybe but the NHL sure as s*** is not, not much better then soccer on ice these days.

    Problem with your post is you are talking the last 4 years, Dickey has not been good this year at all and that is not debatable, then you add we need thole to catch him who is basically the same as having the pitcher bat, that puts a worse team on the field. Last 2 years Dickey has been good for us especially in the second half, very good even, he has been way worse this year, and that is what people are focusing on now. He has been bad. He is not even eating innings for us now. We are in a tight race, and cannot afford to have Dickey and Thole being trot out there every fifth day this year, especially against teams like Boston.

    Well in that case who would we replace him with? I am ok with moving him for the right pieces.

    Don't see his numbers as being average for a shortstop, and is elite defensively.

    LOL, how will they ever win the WS when they face a NL team with a bunch of guys they have never seen before. That argument drives me everytime I hear it.

    Then a contending team should not have him on the roster at all. He is a black hole.

    Offense has been a big disappointment this year, don't let the 10 runs they score in a game here and there that skew the numbers fool you.
