  1. Just have good ABs and see what happens.
  2. Saunders, Barney, and Thole got this.
  3. I know. He's so bloody annoying to watch. He just always seems to have one bullcrap inning that deflates the entire team.
  4. It would have been nice if this game stayed winnable until at least the 6th. Oh well...
  5. I was at a Dickey game in San Francisco in 2013. It was the one that they won 4-0, and Dickey faked a bunt before doubling down the LF line.
  6. It looked like this was shaping into a fun, close game. Unfortunately, implosions of bad luck, and some suck, follow Dickey everywhere he goes.
  7. Dickey is the ultimate rally killer.
  8. I know some of this is bad luck, but bad luck seems to follow Dickey around. Even when Dickey has a dominant game, I thoroughly dislike watching him pitch. It's so frustrating.
  9. Raptors? More like Cra... Shi... Pooptors!
  10. Yes sir.
  11. Series/season over.
  12. Man the Raps are annoying.
  13. Wonderful AB, Barney! Too bad. He was frozen on that one.
  14. These games aren't only frustrating, they're really boring.
  15. No, it shouldn't have. They were both off the plate. Ump made an excellent call on the 0-2 pitch, and a poor one at the end of the AB.
  16. It was close, but off the plate. It was more off the plate than the 0-2 pitch, I believe.
  17. Bad call. That was further inside than the 0-2 pitch.
  18. These hitters are taking the Stevie Wonder approach recently.
  19. Saunders has a really good eye. Seems as though he rarely swings at poor pitches.
  20. Just got home. Looks like this game has been annoying as all hell so far.

    NHL Thread

Someone help me out here. I haven't followed hockey closely in a while. After this draft lottery the other day, my interest has piqued. I was just checking out the scoring leaders from this season. I was looking at Jamie Benn, and his excellent numbers that he's had pretty much the entire time he's been in the NHL, and I noticed that he was drafted in the 5th round. How the hell does a player like this go in the 5th round? Was he not highly touted in his draft year? I mean, his first year in the NHL, he scored 41 points in 82 games. Anyway, just wondering what the story is behind that.
  22. Despite Deshields' best efforts, the Blue Jays still manage to lose.
